MESSAGE FOR EVERYONE
All souls are potentially divine - said Swami Vivekananda (Nagarathna& Nagendra, 2001)
and indeed, they are.
The multi - pronged approach of Yoga has a lot to offer the humanity
as we can all gain a lot from the bountiful dimensions of Yoga, enabling us to
manifest our inherent divinity, the universal potentiality that lies dormant unless
channelized. Today, yoga has been widely accepted as a scientific discipline among
predominantly young, educated and urban global practitioners. Ministry of AYUSH, GOI,
Indian Yoga Association (IYA), Yoga Alliance USA, IAYT USA, all leading institutions
of yoga in India along with a huge number of yoga research centers, training centers,
therapy & wellness centers all over India and abroad are paving the way to foster a
considerable number of basic and applied scientific research on yogic techniques for
in depth understanding and education of a sizable population of aspiring youngsters,
preventive health care, complementary and alternative methods to medicine, holistic
health and overall well-being through yogic practices.
Yoga has a complete message for humanity. It has a message for human body, for
human mind and it has a message for the human soul. Intelligent and capable youth
must come forth to carry this message to every individual, not only in India but
also in every other part of the world – Swami Kuvalayananda, Kaivalyadhama.
MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
My spiritual journey with yoga and meditation began as a
young DAV school student getting upbringing in a religious and secular education movement in India
initiated by THE GREAT DAYANANDA SARAWATI JI (MAKER OF MODERN INDIA) whose book SATYARTH PRAKASH holds
the status of most influential texts on philosophy of Vedas and clarifications of various ideas and duties
of human beings and founded ARYA SAMAJ in 1870, a Hindu Reform Movement based on the belief in the infallible
authority of the Vedas. Dayanand Anglo-Vedic (DAV) educational system, founded by MAHATMA HANSRAJ JI & GURUDATTA VIDHYARTHI JI.
They got inspired by the teaching and ideals of Dayananda Saraswati ji, integrated modern western learnings and blend them with the traditional Vedic knowledge of vedic chants, havans and discussions on moral and ethical topics with DHARAM
SHIKSHA of moral and ethical values based on Vedic principles. During my childhood days
while travelling in a train with a revered Brahma Kumari while visiting my grandparents
residing in foothills of Mount Abu, Brahma Kumaris World Headquarters, I was taught to
meditate in Agya Chakra as a Raja Yogi and got initiation to the concept of
soul - consciousness and was encouraged to see myself as a soul rather than body.
Born in a Vaishya family highly devoted to Shiv- Shakti Bhakti, I feel extremely
indebted to God, her parents, especially my mother who guided and motivated me to
practice yoga and spirituality and had sown and watered the seed of self-consciousness,
awareness and devotion in me. Being the best sports girl of the school, I actively
participated in many State and National Sports Tournaments and won District Level
Yoga & Gymnastic Championship. As a young lady, I always had a silent call of higher
consciousness while I worked as Section Head- Banking & Treasury, Finance & Accounts
for 5 yrs in Gurgaon with MNCs like Max New York life insurance, Sarita Handa Exports
& Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. from 2003-2008 after completing MBA in
Finance & Marketing. Thus, I started learning yoga from various camps with my mother.
I completed 7 days basic course of Art of Living in 2007 in Sec- 15, Gurgaon.
My Spiritual journey with yoga became steadfast in 2011 when I, being a healthy sports person and a corporate master in business administration suffered from physical ailments because of emotional & mental distress and challenges in my personal life. I then realized the interdependence of body and mind for a healthy living and started walking on the path of self-realization and personal quest for self-healing. After experiencing a profound transformation through ancient practices, I dedicated my life to sharing the timeless teachings of yoga and meditation practice and Indian philosophy. Later on, I proceeded with Professional PG Degree in Yogic Science from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. I was awarded Gold Medal in Masters in Yoga in 2016 and since then I have been moving on with various achievements and qualifications. With over 15 years of practice, learning and teaching, I had the privilege of exploring my subjective experience of heightened awareness encompassing herself, my reality, the world around me, all external events contributing to my experiences and my internal mental processes related to my thoughts, feelings and internal sensations, from the lineage of great 7 traditional masters. At present, Iam pursuing PhD on Liberation through Shakti Tantra Sadhana &Upasana, a comprehensive study of Sri Vidya Upasana, Kundalini Awakening, Advaita Philosophy, Shankaracharya SaundaryaLahari, Lalita Sahasranama, Tripura Rahasya, Dasa Mahavidya Sutras and Shiv Purana as an initiated Shakta Tantra Sadhika which is a profound structured spiritual method combining mantras, rituals, visualisations and Kundalini practices demanding highly ethical grounding, reverence and humility while being guided by Guruji Yogi Brahmadanda Ji. As a Tantra Yoga learner and student. Under the divine grace and guidance of all my Gurus, I am committed to guide the seekers on their path to holistic health by improving their physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual well-being paving their way to inner peace by helping them discover the profound connection between mind, body and spirit through the transformative power of Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Jnana/ Gyana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga & Karma Yoga and Meditation based on traditional philosophical knowledge and lore of yoga.
